Hearing comprehension 14

We propose you a hearing comprehension exercise. We're going to give you a paragraph every week (Mondays) to practice with it. Try to understand every single word. We advise you to write it, as if it were a dictation. You can send us your writtings here below clicking in 'comments'. We'll give you the right answer the following week. Try it!

Here is the transcription to the last week listening:
It's funny you say that. Just two weeks ago I was talking with a friend about the same question and he said exactly the same thing you did: Johson is going to be fired by the board of directors in the next board meeting. If the two of you are right, then I won't sell my shares yet. With Johnson out the picture, I'm sure the stock price will go up.

  3. You are really working hard... It's not that easy to understand some of the words, because they're about the business world, and sometimes it's difficult to know this kind of vocabulary.
We advise you to listen the whole track at least 3 or 4 times before starting to write. This way you'll catch better the general idea.
Second advice: look out with the plurals. It's usual in people from Andalucia to forget the final "s" (as in "shares" here). Also not to realize the difference between "price" and "prize", the first one is "precio" the second one is "premio". Here the correct one is "price". They sound similar, but not the same. If you look for the pronunciation in a dictionary you'll realize it.
Anyway you're really into it!! Go on like this.
    Great job.

As you already did the work, We'll give you the transcription here. But we'll post it in the blog next Monday, as usual.
